Leda Karabela is a managing partner at Nablis LLC. A marketing, media and reputation strategist, crisis intervention consultant, and leadership and communication coach, Leda has multiple years of experience with multinationals working with thought leaders to drive overall corporate reputation strategies.
In her consultant role, Leda serves as trusted advisor to management teams helping seize opportunities, manage crises, navigate market disruptions, articulate their brand, and protect reputation with delivery of credible and consistent messages to priority stakeholders.
Previously, Leda was involved in engagement strategy as a Technical Audience Marketing Lead for the Middle East & Africa Region for Microsoft in UAE. Leda was responsible for the execution framework of maintaining sustainable and meaningful breadth and depth relationships with technical audiences, driving customer acquisition and retention, and aligning relevant customer/partner relationship marketing activities with the common goal of improving overall audience satisfaction and image.
Prior career roles include Corporate Communication Director (Vivartia-Greece); Regional Marketing Director and Public Affairs Director (BP-London, UK & Greece); and Director of Corporate Relations (Stanford Business School-Palo Alto, CA)
At Stanford Business School, Leda worked on academic /private partnerships projects where she was instrumental in a multi-million dollar capital campaign as the primary fundraiser.
Leda has an LL.B. in Jurisprudence from Aristotelian University Law School (Greece), in addition to an MSc in Communication from Boston University and an Executive Coaching Graduate degree from University of Texas, Dallas School of Management. She has been on the coaching team of TED Fellows through the SupporTED program, designed to bring together young world-changers and trailblazers. She is an Accredited Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Practitioner – Myers Briggs (MBTI).
A dual US/EU citizen, she is a global citizen, having worked with both physical and virtual teams in multiple countries, having lived in Boston, San Francisco, London, Athens and Dubai.
