Ken Taormina is CEO & Co-Founder at Nablis LLC. In his career, Ken has been the lead architect in the creation, development, and growth for companies in the professional services areas of strategic business planning, global software services, enterprise information systems, and digital Industrial Internet organizations and teams.
He has proven expertise in leading global organizations through successful transformation, growth and change with deep experience in enterprise digitization, data analytics, mobility, cloud, internet of things, and global sourcing. He has led large business organizations while living in the U.S., Europe, and India.
Starting in 2013, Ken co-founded two technology service companies providing leadership and business guidance to both Fortune 1000 and Private Equity companies globally. In 2015-2016, Ken took on the role of an operating executive in a private equity company as the Chief Growth Officer of a $700M Engineering Services company platform acquisition. In his role, Ken restructured their Sales, Marketing and New Business Strategy, and drove their M&A of three companies to include a Cyber Security Company, a Software Integration Company and an Engineering Design firm. His board engagements include Independent Directors of Update Software, a CRM company based in Vienna, Austria and RheinBrucke IT Consulting in Cologne, Germany.
Previously, Ken was Managing Director of Accenture’s Products Operating Group where he led Consumer Goods, Automotive/Industrial, Infrastructure and Transportation/Hospitality in mobility services across North America. In addition, Ken led Accenture’s Products Mobility Business and developed Accenture’s “Connected Vehicle Offering”, a $225M business. He also developed and led Accenture’s Digital Engineering Services business where he was responsible for the P&L, strategy, M&A, marketing, and delivery services to aerospace, industrial, and resource companies. Prior to Accenture, Ken was SVP Global Manufacturing Industry at Mahindra Satyam, where he developed their state-of-the-art, aerospace, automotive, manufacturing and engineering centers of excellence using digital design and simulation technology, in the U.S. and in India.
Ken held other senior executive roles at KPMG Consulting, Oracle, Raytheon, and GE. Upon undergraduate graduation, he served as a captain in the U.S. Army for five years.
Ken holds a B.A. in Public Administration from Georgetown University and a Masters in Information Systems at the American University. He attended both the Executive training program at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business and GE’s Executive Management Training at Crotonville, New York. He has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Manufacturing twice and has been an elected board member of several public and private technology companies. He is also a lecturer and advisory board member at Rollins College in the Department of Business in Winter Park, FL.
